Just wondering what core (college wide) courses are required for someone majoring in engineering? How many core English, History, etc courses does an engineering major have to take? I know Lafayette is a LAC but I can't figure out what the requirements are and whether there is any flexibility in meeting those requirements. S has had enough of English, History, etc, but is okay with it if there are some fun options. He is also considering a few of the technical schools (WPI, RHIT, RPI), but really like Lafayette because of its size. Any thoughts or comments on this would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a link to the engineering program at Lafayette showing what humanities requirements there are.
