Thanks Guys

what are you registered for now?

Accounting is not tough but just needs alot of time devoted. The material is not hard, but since you’re competing with 600 other people taking at the same time, you beat the curve by studying in more details and depth.

Finance is okay to take. I recommend honors section as mine gave out around 50% A’s. You can also take one of the required mgmt 105, bpub 203 classes as a soft class to balance out the schedule.

Right now I’m signed up for chem101, chem053, a foreign language, and a calculus class. I couldn’t get into the writing seminar that I wanted.

By the way, how often do people drop writing seminars during drop/add week?

bump! thanks guys.

People drop/add writing seminars like it’s their jobs. If I were you, I’d find SOME writing seminar. In the end, they’re all basically the same, so if the subject area is remotely interesting, go for it. At the same time, that schedule looks like it’s 4 c.u. … you don’t need more than that first semester freshman year.

Are you a freshman? Did you do any AP Statistics in high school/earn a 5 on the exam? If so, do STAT102; if not, try STAT101. I wouldn’t really go for the ACCT/FNCE core your first semester.

Throw in another writing seminar like everyone else said…it would be nice to be at least somewhat interested in it however…otherwise, if you can’t decide on anything, just do a sector requirement…you have to get through them sometime anyways

hahah i don’t know if this is just me thinking this… but i don’t think the OP is in wharton you guys :)

Goooood call mathmajor… in that case do any writing seminar, I can’t imagine that only ONE is the one for you. And wow, I am sorry to have jumped to conclusions/completely missed your lack of MGMT100.
