What’s a good class to sit in on when I visit Penn? I have a limited list to choose from–but I was thinking Management 100 or 101? What do you think?

mgmt is like 1st grade in hell when you strip it down... they grade you down for using the green crayon instead of the red crayon, but they never told you that you had to use red. you then fight other students for the red crayon.

what legend said. you do not want to sit in on a mgmt intro class, trust me.
try to sit in on a fnce class...since Wharton is known for fnce, i think that's the way to go.

*** legendofmax lol!?

chanman--did you get in as a transfer yet?

applied. But like everyone says, a miracle has to happen.

Bpub 250 with Professor Doherty...Tuesday's and Thursday's 1:30-3 pm

Or if you can get permission, try Fnce101 Honors section with Souleles. Tuesdays and Thursdays, three sections.

I can only get in on BPUB 250 with W. Allen.

Also, I can't get in on the honors classes, but I can sit in on FNCE 101 with D. Restuccia.

These are the other options I have:
BPUB 250
FNCE 101
HCMG 101
LGST 101
LGST 210
MGMT 100
MGMT 101
MKTG 101
OPIM 101
OPIM 291

What's the best class out of those? Also, if I get into Wharton, I think I would rather concentrate in management, marketing & communication, or real estate. But I'm not much of a finance person.

If you can't sit in on 101 honors, then don't bother. Regular isn't bad, but i think your time can be better spent.

Try Legal Studies, maybe.

And btw, please don't make up your mind about your concentration before coming here. It's a dumb thing to do. The classes/concentrations will be very different than what you picture in your mind, I assure you.

Haha, okay. It's just that I'd rather go into the slightly more creative side of business, because I'm not a math fanatic so I don't want to go into accounting or finance for sure.

why do you need permission? just stroll on in
unless of course its a small honors course

for a more engaging class experience, go for lgst 210 (if it's an afternoon session with prof. radin) or opim 291.
