Are you just ■■■■■■■■?

explain what you do for merrill lynch specifically and maybe I can tell more clearly.

if everything here is ligit… you’ll forsure get into aem… imo

Yeah, if everything here is perfectly true
then yeah i agree you’d get in

wo now…lets not jump to conclusions, just so i let you know, AEM is going to check on that Merrill lynch internship by calling and conforming, and if they find out you didn’t, they can call the commonapp people and file a complaint…its like a chain reaction…
but then again, you have all the classes done and your GPA is beautiful,

…
( my friend is common app mediator)

Thanks! The Merrill Lynch internship is a work in progress; my dad is close with one of the financial advisers there and she promised she’d be able to try and set something up (i’m honestly not sure exactly, the conversation was extreamly broard, but its 100% legit). I’d be working at a branch in Wayne NJ. Unfortunately I don’t get any college credit for it. Anyways, I posted this thread so many times cause I wanted to see some responses. I really %$$%$%ed up in high school and I’m not submitting my SAT scores, nor do I have the time or desire to retake them if Cornell won’t place emphasis on them. I worked my #$# off in CC so far as you can tell and hopefully it pays off; as I have a two more semester to go. Thanks for the feedback!

yo …why…don’t you give us a list of ALL classes you have taken so far, and also the classes you will be taking

No Problem,
Completed:
Financial Accounting
Managerial Accounting
Statistics
Principles of Marketing
Precalculus
College Algebra
Principles of Management
Business Law I
MacroEconomics
General Bio I
MicroEconomics
General Psychology
English Composition I
English Composition II - Honors
Modern European History
Latin American History
Business Information Systems

Fall 2011 Semester:
General Chemistry I - (Only for Cornell AEM :/)
General Biology II - (Only for Cornell AEM YET AGAIN :/)
Calculus I
Elementary Mandarin I
Public Speaking - (ugh, again only for Cornell! but should be easy.)

Spring Semester (Assuming AEM requirements don’t change)
Calculus II
Elementary Mandarin II.

Let me know if you have any other questions! By the time I apply, I will have completed ALL recommended and ALL encouraged courses. But we’ll see >.<

yo…did you talk to the AEM admissions counselor, and check if these courses transfer or not
as in credit wise

Yep… I went to CALS and asked what they would/wouldn’t take. Obviously College Algebra and Precalculus won’t transfer, and MAYBE the history courses, but other then that, I’ll still have enough credits to transfer in as a junior (if I get in). Take mostly classes from the AEM distribution chart and complete those preq’s…

Did you visit the school or speak with an admission’s counselor on the phone?

You will definitely get in because you have completed all of the encouraged and required classes. I’m kinda scared because I haven’t done all the recommended…

Both. I visited and spoke!

Omg, this thread has been four years. Still, I want to ask what if I am not able to finish taking all the recommended and required courses? My current college has this “block schedule” for freshmen in their first semester, which we cannot choose the courses ourselves. So I need to wait for the second semester of my freshman year to take those courses Cornell wants. But then again, courses like statistics requires two prerequisites. and this chain reaction goes on because one of the prerequisites has its own prerequisite. ,… Can I take those courses in the summer?
