Cornell applicants, do you still have app. incomplete?

Ahh thanks for all you guys' help. Now the ultimate dilemma I have is to figure out whether I would be accepted...

So as of right now, is anyone's Cornell app totally complete (Midterm report marked as received)?

So nervous!!! RD people get their decisions Thursday, but I can't help but get nervous for them. Maybe our rolling decisions will be up sooon too!

My midterm is still not marked as received.
Some acceptances come out as early during the second week of April, though your application really needs to fully convince the adcoms to make this happen.

I called and spoke with someone from the adcom last week. Had a nice conversation with him. I was suppose to ask him questions regarding the transfer process as well as the school itself. Eventually he asked me questions, like what kind of student I was in HS (grades, curriculum, activities), what kind of things I'm doing in school now, WHY I want to go to Cornell, etc. He seemed really interested in what I had to say. He even said that as long as I mentioned what I had said to him in the application itself, it'll be good. Obviously I did, because I telling him stuff I said in the application. At the end of the call, he took down my name and stuff. PLEASEEEEEEEEe let this be something real good.

My midterm hasn't been received yet...but I know they just received it today. Maybe in a day or two, it'll be up.

What number did you call? And what did you say to get an adcom to talk to you? Now I am really attempted to do so though I am pretty sure if I do do it I'll probably end up embarrass the hell out of myself.

I applied to HumEc. So I called THEIR Admissions office. If I remember correctly, you don't apply there...so check up on the admissions office of your school.

Just talked about my application process, some concerns and questions about the process and the school (the major and program I'm applying to).

Good luck to you! I hope we all get the good news real soon. BTW, where did you hear about acceptances being sent out a few weeks after April?

You could check the old forum. If I remember correctly, there are quite a few who got their decision around the 12th or so by email. I know one of them was applying to engineering.
But then again most ppl on cc have way above average stats (not me though) so I wouldn't really be surprised.

Just on a side note, most of the decisions should be sent around late April/early May, those I mentioned really were the few exceptions.

Yeh, I can see from the old board...

ARgh...long long wait...

What's the old board?

www.collegeconfidential.com/discus

My midterm is now checked off, the waiting officially begins.

They still haven't checked mine off...ahh..

I hope it'll be soon...

Did you send yours in last week?

I'm just confused as to why theres still such a long lag processing time.

It probably has to do with different colleges that we are applying to.
I sent it out in mail last Wed., and I am actually quite surprised it only took a week this time.

I doubt it, when we mail it, we all send it to the same department. I'm thinking this dept. is responsible for scanning and uploading these apps. The respective colleges would then be able to access it online or something. The one 1 time is probably shorter because ED and RD apps are basically done. But 1 week, still kinda long to scan a sheet of paper.

Yeah you are probably right, though they may be uploading it by last name or something so that might be it. When did you send yours?
Anyway I'm glad they got it.

Sent mine last week, they received it this Monday. I know because I sent it priority. Hopefully it'll be up by the end of the week or early next week..

It's finally in!

I was told that most rolling admission decisions should be made in 3-4 weeks. Again, this is from Human Ecology.

Good luck to all.
