Cornell applicants, do you still have app. incomplete?

I've sent all the forms (form 2, rec form, college rec form etc.) except midterm form (sending that tomorrow or so) at least 12 days ago from today, but yet to see any of them checked off in the application status page. Should I start worrying? I know from my previous experience that usually it takes about 1 week upon receiving for them to put them up, but I just can't stop worrying about it. Ahhh!
What about you guys? How many of you lurkers out there are applying to Cornell this year?

My midyear has not been sent in. I just got an email from a counselor at Cornell telling me that I need to send that in so that my app would be reviewed.

Don't worry I'm sure it does take some time.

You got an email from Cornell asking you to send in forms? Is it a response to your questions or? Because I haven't got any emails from them, probably a bad sign...

Someone from the admissions department emailed me to notify me probably because they were going through my app. But remember, I'm applying to HUMAN ECOLOGY. I sent in my app a month before the deadline. So it could be that as well.

Oh yeh, HE has a small applicant pool. It's much easier to manage, so I guess that's why they were able to email me.

i haven't even gotten a confirmation of my app yet

I'd say give them till Friday, then call again.

Which Cornell school are you guys applying to again?

hnbui: I haven't gotten anything either, other than a confirmation email with the pin#s to set up the status page account. I've always thought maybe they would send us confirmation in snail mail... but I guess not cause other than the course book, I haven't received anything else.

kkl230: engineering for me

And plus when are you guys going to send your midterm report form if you haven't? I'm waiting on one grade that's very likely going to come in the next few days.. but I don't know if I should wait or just send it now (I have 3 grades out of the 5 classes already) since supposedly at this stage the eariler they receive it the better it is.

The only snail mail confirmation you should probably get is from the school which you are applying to. I remember getting that after sending in Part I, nothing else since.

Get it all in at the same time. You know the processing lag time, it's probably better to get it in all at once rather than risk delaying it even more.

It takes quite a bit of time to process 1500 applications...when I applied to Emory I was not registered on-line even as far as 2 MONTHS!!!...after I sent in the application.

No need to worry...just takes time, if you feel the need to call them there is no harm in doing so

ya CNCL, i haven't sent my midyear report either. i don't even have a college transcript (i go to a Canadian university, and they don't issue a statement of results until late May at earliest) anyway, I'm kind of nervous because for this one class, the prof says he can't give me my grade until the second test is out, which is in 2 weeks!!! but nehow i am planning on sending a report with all my grades with the exception of that one class

kkl230: CAS

hajen: I've emailed them about the midterm report and got a response. From what I understand, midterm report form needs to be RECEIVED before april, that's when they officially start to review transfer applications. So it's a good idea to have everything at their fingertips. So send it with all the available grades and send it on time. I just sent it like this morning with 4 (out of 5) midterm grades on them, the other one is just impossible for me to get since there weren't any exam yet.

Anyway since this form is (supposedly) the last piece to complete the application, gl to everyone's application!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
I just logged on to my status page, the little text on the bottom changed from "Application incomplete" to "Cornell has not yet made a decision on your application. Please continue to check this site for decision information. Thank you!"
I knew the decision will probably not be made until early may but I am so nervous now.

ya i plan to overnight my 4 out of 5 grades (which are year classes) on the midterm report tmrw! good luck to everyone
btw, did everyone have a college transcript that you sent out with your application?

hajen: yes I sent that in early march, and it was received according to the status page. The only thing I am missing now is the midterm report.

cool, which school are you applying from?

I don't wanna reveal too much (even though I think I already did), but it's a school in NY.

ok cool, im from Canada

Hey. Okay, so. My application was incomplete for a long time (CAS), and so I called them to see what the deal was. Apparently the woman (Carla) who processes my part of alphabet (B), was sick...so all the kids with B last names applying to CAS ended up with incomplete applications for a while. I don't know about anything else going on there, but that's what happened with me. So maybe you could call them and see what's up? They were really helpful for me! Good luck!

Cornell people are really really really nice.

Unlike those, at Penn.
