Cornell Application Status

hsinwei, yea i'm applying to AAP.
well...i guess i'll just have to be patient, get on with my life, and wait for the results NEXT WEEEEEEEEEEK

Will most of the decisions come out next week??

Okay, mine is still under review! Are AEM acceptances all out already? I hope not as I have yet to receive an acceptance :p. cross my fingers

I have a feeling I will be rejected...:(

my status has not changed yet.

I got in!!!!! They must update it early in the morning because I checked last night around 1 am and it wasn't up but this morning at 8:40 it was. yayyyy! Oh and it is a link, at the top of your status page, it says check your decision in red letters, good luck for those of you who will find out today!!!

Congrats sarahd! Which school and major?

Has anybody been rejected/waitlisted? or they notify the accepted people first?

how many applicants this year? CAS

congratz sarah!!
but oh no...don't tell me they send out acceptance notifications first..............

Congrats sarahd6789..

bitterlemon.. I hope that's not the case.. If so then I will be rejected?? :(

I got in to CAS as an Economics major for those who asked,

and this is on no authority but in regards to acceptances before nots.... because they are rolling with their decisions i feel like some of the acceptances will be out first only because they will give more time to people who they are not sure about, as in wait until they see how many people respond yes/what the whole pool looks like....? But I'd say definitely do not take it as a bad sign that you didn't hear yet, I'm sure they still have lots of unread applications

okay, I am so nervous now...I just called the admission office, the lady told me there are about 270 people apply to AEM, only 30 of them would be accepted...and I am on a sort of "waitlist" that they can not make decision right away, but after they taking people off, the rest will be accepted. oh, she did not share the info that how many people are on that list...the final decision will be made in next 4-5 days...

good luck to all of the AEM applicants!!

How about the applicants for Engineering?? Anyone knows?? :( -sigh-

Maple88 .... I just spoke to CALS Undegrad Admissions.... they said they don't have the numbers abt how many applied or will be accepted to AEM ... i wonder where u got that stats from....

She said decisions will be posted online around next week.

Remember for CALS ... preference is given to in-state students.... lol! I still have my fingers crossed...

Congratz Sarah!

I'm sure all of you guys will get in too! Can't wait till we're all congratulating each other lol (I know..the master of optimistic..)

m.kenien...ummm...the stats are from the lady of CALS admission office I spoke to half hour ago...

preference to in-state students... okay, im even more nervous now....

How could two people from the admission office have different data? -__-

anything new about CAS?

Maple88 ... if u spoke to Cals Undegrad no. then there is only one person who attend that phone... that girl with a nice voice...lol! I wonder why she didn't tell me... but she did say for AEM its quite competitive...

Yes... CALS is a NY State sponsored school...therefore NY residents have better chances....

I asked if the decision has been made on my application, and the lady told me that sort of "waitinglist" decision... then began to explain how many applicants and available spots this year... idk why m.kenien and I got diff. stats...
