ACCEPTED to school of hotel admin as soph transfer!

AAP n engineering ppl!!! let's stay strong through the weekend and wait for MONDAY MAY 12!!!

because...today is Saturday...

But if you think about.. if they made a decision yesterday.. they will put it on the computer on the same day... and it will be updated this morning.. that's why there is a possibility that there are some people that get their decisions today.. but then.. mine hasn't been updated.. :(

it's just what I thought though.. I don't know if that's really the case :p

Sooo...I got rejected a couple days ago...but today I got a letter in the mail saying they need more info to determine how much financial aid I'll be getting. And it had my "Cornell ID" on the letter. Is that normal? Should I call the admissions office on Monday to make sure that the decision online matches the one they made?

I am very, very rejected as well. I really believed I would get in. Weird.

That's strange, you should call and confirm your decision.

^ is your NetID or CornellID a 7 digit number?

I got the same letter today - but I was accepted, so that's odd. It was 7 digits at the top right, Cornell ID.

Maybe you got in and they messed up?

Or maybe the admissions office forgot to inform the aid office.

well i got the letter after getting my decision on the website. I heard there was a glitch in the system an some ppl that were accepted had the denied letter on the website. Is it possible that they messed mine up or am I just flat out rejected? lol

I'm gonna call on monday, but until then I want to get as much info to relieve my anxiety.

And yeah...my Cornell ID was on the top right.

I was accepted, but never received this letter you're talking about.

Well I only got it because my financial aid was incomplete...so they couldn't determine how much aid i'd be getting. But why would they send me the letter after it says I was rejected online?

I think these are the two most plausible explanations.

^ They are pretty much the only explanations..lol

No they are not. Wipe that insolent smirk off your face.

Never! My smirk is permanent!
