Hi guys, I went to the Fall Diversity Program for Cornell Engineering, so I am a member of the Cornell engineering Facebook group. Today, two events were added to the page - Diversity Hosting Weekend on April 11, and Woman in Engineering on April 12. I predict that the likelies will be arriving very shortly! Also, does anyone know if people like me can get likelies/be invited again?

What about bioengineering through CALS? Not COE.

I don’t know, I just know about COE. But I would guess they would send them at the same time.

Well shoot, MIT CPW is April 11-14 so even if I get in I couldn’t go to the women in engineering thing. Do they have other admitted student days?

do only people who get accepted to the Womens in Engineering program get a likely letter from the college of engineering?

Also do you have to apply for the womens in engineering program?

Penn likely letters (emails) were sent today, so if you qualify for a likely, expect the other Ivies to follow suit.

I don’t think you have to apply. I think the reason they send likelies is so that you have time to plan the trip into your schedule. As there is a separate diversity program, that means that minorities will be included as well.

I am a Nigerian applicant to Cornell living in Nigeria, do I qualify for the diversity hosting program?

Likely email arrived today. C of E - female applicant.

I got a likely email today also. C of E - female. Congrats Tixxi66! (:
