@niceplanet Thank you for answering. Hope what he wrote for me really helps.
@pipsteri haha idk I guess it’s because I like to think that Cornell is holistic and very qualified people are easily denied while others who are accepted may have appeared unlikely at first. It’s just that everything has been decided by Cornell and I think it would suck if someone was chanced as getting in and finds out tomorrow they didn’t get in. But if it calms you down then you do you! Good luck regardless of whatever chances you get from people
I have to study for art history but… I don’t want to…I kind of want to skip tomorrow lol but I feel like I’m not gonna have enough absences for senior skip days
@Tryharding yep living in the suburbs of atl, I assume you’re from georgia too lol. are you applying to emory, uga, or gt?
TIL more than twenty people in my school applied to Cornell ED. Not sure how I should feel about that lol
I have state testing and performances tomorrow and Friday so I’m in it for the long run
Can I message someone something about my chances please pleaseee!! I’m applying to ILR
@NotAMathlete I’m applying to CALS for nutrition science and once I forgot all my underwear for a 3 week sleep away camp
Human Ecology, HBHS. I started school a year early and I skipped a grade so I will start college at 16. LOL I hope that makes me unique. and its weird because one day I think no I am unique, I have good ecs and recommendations, my essay fit the major perfectly, i had a 2 hour interview and she loved me. but the next day i realize i have nothing and I won’t get in. UGHH I don’t know what to think and now instead of sleeping I am stressing out.
@notlhara sure hmu I’ll give u my honest opinion
@notlhara go ahead
Procrastinating on program
@icybal99 I skipped a grade too! I just haven’t ever felt like that specifically has set me apart from everyone else.
I don’t think I even mentioned it in my app. haha.
@notlhara send me your stats.
@Curlynizzle
Oh, of course, I realize that “chancing” on CC or any other site is not nearly a realistic indication of who is getting in and who isn’t. There’s a lot of chance involved in college admissions processes, especially at this level. However, comparing stats and opinions with other hopeful applicants just calms me down for some (extremely twisted?) reason.
Good luck to you too! I really hope many of us get in. This thread is extremely supportive and even though I haven’t interacted with many users yet, I love seeing the comments here!
@NotAMathlete YAY a person who actually understands me! What school did u apply to? I didn’t mention it in my app but my counselor did so thats good i guess
I was hoping me being 16 was diff but well see tom…
CoE, ECE… So. Stressed. Out.
I skipped a grade too and human ecology @icybal99 we may be twins
@CCSenioritis OMG we literally have so much in common. This is weird! If we get in we HAVE to meet.
All u people skipping grades lol overachiever
@curlynizzle same and no, everywhere I’m applying is out of state haha
