Oh yeah, I applied to the Engineering school. I feel like my chances are slim. I have the same stats as Cornell on Naviance, and b/c I live in NY we have a high acceptance rate to Cornell (32%). My SAT II’s are abysmal, and looking back at my essay it is not great. I am hoping my extracurricular, good recs, and major hooks pull me through.
@OMGDEVICE What do you count as major hooks jw?
@CCSenioritis decisions are only available to CAAAN members the day after we found out, I imagine it would be the same for a coach, although I have no idea
I got a likely letter from Cornell!!!
@thesupremebanana Excuse me for being sceptic but are you a recruited athlete?
@CCSenioritis If banana is being truthful he’s probably a recruited athlete, I don’t think Cornell gives likely letters in the early round otherwise
Who else keeps switching between being sort of confident about admissions decisions and feeling completely hopeless?
@nakiri me
@nakiri me too
@nakiri me 120%
@nakiri Sometimes I’m confident, and other times I’m confident I’ll get rejected. :))
@nakiri RT RT RT literally me
Is everyone fairly sure that all schools in Cornell will release their decisions on the 10th?
YES LOL DECISIONS WILL COME OUT ON THE 10TH!!!
Lol alright. Heard so many different dates from different people so I was unsure
By the way, anyone here applying for engineering???
It was confirmed not their official twitter so we can only trust they’re not lying to us : )
i hate this process
@lillyyy That you are likely (guaranteed if you don’t mess up) to gain admission when results come out
some days I am like oh I’ll get in and if I don’t its not a big deal and some days I am like I’M NOT GOING TO GET IN AND MY LLIFE WILL BE OVER.
