Is it bad that I feel no anxiety? I decided to be super optimistic after I sent in my application but I realize my chances and even though this is my dream school , I’ve come to terms with going to my state school

@tyronium haha we are both stuck in the same loop. I tried looking for patterns in that decision results thread but there were none. Good grades and ECs were deferred and yet some low scorers made it.
Nothing makes any sense.
Oh and I checked out your profile. You, like me, applied for Computer Science too. Are you intending to do it through CoE or CAS?

@FZM777 Haha it’s really nice to see that someone else wants to go into CS at Cornell. All my friends thought I was crazy for applying to Cornell vs the tech-y schools like MIT and CMU 
@maria93101 Cornell is pretty awesome with CS. I am now beginning to think it is the most popular major in CoE.

What is the use of feeling anxiety? No body knows what is the criteria for getting admitted. So, be happy with whatever the result is. If admitted, be happy and be contained and if not admitted try some where else. Ultimately we will find our own place, even though it might not be of our chosen one.

Guys, so a kid in my school applying to the same college in Cornell that I applied to got an interview and I didn’t. . .
Am I rejected?
It was for one of the colleges that isn’t really supposed to do interviews though (at least, I was under the impression that they didn’t)
