Hey guys. I’ve been reading every single comment on this thread now for months and thought I would make an account to finally get involved. I applied to AEM and I am freaking out because I have a low ACT grade but a high GPA, a bunch of ECs, and good essays. My brother is currently enrolled and my dad also is a Cornell Grad. Does that help at all?
so we’re fairly (99%) sure that the decision comes out on the tenth? for all schools, right?

@netsirk98 i’ve heard that legacy makes chances higher especially for ED…! and a high GPA and ECs and good essays sounds promising!

@Rahulbarcafan lol because I have a 30…I went down on my reading section but its a 31 super-scored. I feel like admissions won’t even look at my app with this grade.

@netsirk98 my reading was not upto the mark as well-25- very low I know. But my toefl score was very high so maybe-just maybe- they dont think about it too much 
For those wondering I sent my first quarter grades in an email! What were they going to say
‘we don’t care.’, ‘thanks for the update!’ seems like an appropriate response rejected or accepted.
Also i know there is much debate about this topic, but, my brother is a senior at Cornell, does that help at all?
