Cornell Class of 2020 Regular Decision Discussion Thread

This might come as a crazy thing to do but for a lot of us the next 30 mins is the last moment which we can legitimately imagine getting acceptance into an ivy school. After that, we can’t really imagine it any more.

So you can choose to close your eyes for the next 30 mins and imagine getting a YES, getting the HUGS, getting the SMILES and getting the CONGRATULATIONS.

After the next 30 mins, for most of us, Ivy Dreams No More!

There is still grad school…

@islandmg LOL what school?!?!

Konawaena @Amyleeal

@SteinerR you’re making me cry almost and we haven’t even gotten decisions yet. I want all the hugs and the smiles

@BOBROSS

You’re right! My dad did not attend any ivies for undergrad, but went to Columbia Law so there is future hope for everyone :slight_smile:

I actually don’t know what I’d do with myself

good luck guys, I’m expecting rejection. Ive been waitlisted to CRWU and CMU, rejected by JHU, and accepted to only Pitt and PSU.

@Kylemcgrogan I was waitlisted at CRWU too. Probably because we were over qualified B-)

@islandmg mm from mckinley in oahu haha!! i wish you and everyone here the best of luck

Cornell is probably the only good university i’ve applied to in the US

@cuhopeful16 Lol I wish. I had only a 2210 sat and 800 on chem and math 2, and cumulative WGPA of 4.17, great recs but poor EC’s.

I hope to see many of you become my classmates :slight_smile:

Wait i was talking about case western I think we were thinking of different ones @Kylemcgrogan

15 minutes!

This thread is so chill compared to ED

@cuhopeful16 Yeah, we are… People I know including my counselors have told me it is because of my poor 9th grade GPA and mediocre EC’s. 2200 isn’t really super high for case western.

I have great ECs, talked to multiple deans from Cornell a lot, decent test scores, and great recs come on please Cornell please

That moment when the portal will be down due to overloading… at 5

Oh Jeez, im gonna open the other ivies first and open cornell’s last. I will settle for the spring admission in 2017! LOVE ME
