I'm applying for Bio undergrad. Is there anything notable about the CAS for Bio that I can mention?

As a current Bio major (who also is in CAS) I'd say that the CAS requirements really do aim to create well rounded minds. personally, I find it somewhat liberating to be able to pursue other coursework despite the potential pains brought about by taking several math/sci courses. another thing that stands out is how easy it is to get work in a lab, learn what's going on, and get involved in some form of research even as a freshman.

It's really hard to provide tips on what to include in the essays since each can be so unique; however, I remember mentioning how CAS would allow me to major in bio, while satisfying my interests in other fields...yea something of that nature

^ yea i agree with the post above. mention something that has been significant to you..something like how you've been involved in science, in the lab or some research internship you've completed..anything that really conveys your interest in bio.
