Cornell Days and Risley

Whats the best time to go for a good time and what can I expect?

Also, I requested Risley as my dorm, is that a bad idea for a freshman, since it's not a freshmen-only dorm? I was at Cornell for summer college and stayed in Balch, and I always passed by Risley and I thought it looked really nice. Plus their facilities are amazing! All those workshops and studios?! Anyways, I hear that people describe the people at Risley as "interesting". What do they mean exactly?

bump bump bump

Risley is a beautiful building and probably has the best dining hall on campus. That said, it’s reputation is “weird” or “unique.” I don’t mean that in any sort of negative way, and there are probably better words to describe it if I thought harder. Anyone I’ve known from Risley and was always someone with a “different” personality. Some of the stories I hear out of Risley rival that of some of the frat stories I’ve heard (not hazing, don’t worry).
