Ciao.

Yes, you can go. For EDers it’s more of an opportunity to get to know the campus and the school a little better.

That site is for CALS students… Are all students allowed to go?

yeah Cornell Days is for the entire university.

you should go, even if you are ED! i went just to finally meet the people i was getting to know online, and it was so much fun! it was great to put a face to a facebook. the events are a blast and the ambassadors are so knowledgeable (not to toot my own horn, but… ). you have the opportunity to meet professors from college info sessions, go to classes, see the dorms, meet other 2015ers, etc.

My D was not ED but attended Cornell Days and that really helped her decide. I think EDers may enjoy it so it reinforces their choice. They will also get to meet some profs and learn about clubs in their departments and such.

Also, I would highly recommend the pre-orientation trips in August. My D did not know a soul when she went to Cornell. The preorientation trip helped her make a lot of friends before orientation. The orientation at Cornell is not really designed so that you meet a lot of people through it. Especially if you end up in a less social dorm–high rises or Balch, you may really like the trips and the friends you make.
