Cornell Debate Team?

<p>hey, i'm an incoming transfer this fall.</p>

<p>i've always had a passion for debate (in highschool, we were off by 14 points from going to state championships...)</p>

<p>i was wondering of Cornell had a debating team and how good the program was?</p>

<p>and also, i realize college debating is COMPLETELY different from high school debating? In high school people spoke with passion and articulated their arguments slowly and carefully. I heard college debate is simply reading your pre-written argument as fast as possible and that is was basically insanity.</p>
