Hi everyone!
I was wondering if any of you knew by what date we need to withdraw our other applications. I EA’d to a pretty competitive school, in addition to my ED to Cornell, and I’m afraid they’ll rescind my admission if I don’t withdraw in time. However, I haven’t received my financial aid package yet… I just can’t find the ED agreement I signed to read it and clarify.

Yeah I have a similar problem as featherkin, does anyone know what date we need to withdraw our other applications by because i was going to contact financial aid to try and get more than 0 financial aid?

Has anybody got the official letter of acceptance in mail?

@qwerty5912 I’ve got 0 fin aid as well, even though my family income is less than $50,000 pa. We made a mistake in our CSS profile where my parents listed our total savings in two places, which the fin aid committee probably added together. Do you think they’d reconsider seeing that we made a genuine mistake? I have almost accepted that I won’t be able to enroll though, since being able to afford Cornell without fin aid would mean selling our house and using up all that my parents have saved for the past 20 years.
Does the fin aid committee even consider appeals from international students? If not, it’s bye bye Cornell for me:(

@featherkin I haven’t recieved any emails regarding aid either, I just went to their website and used my applicantID to view my aid decision. It wasn’t there a couple of days ago, but yesterday it was uploaded. And then I realised I might not be able to attend my dream school despite getting accepted.

Holden I would call financial aid and explain it to them that’s what I’m going to do in the next couple days
