Hello!
I just submitted my Cornell ED application yesterday afternoon (very last minute, I know haha). I haven’t gotten my Application ID yet though, should I be concerned? I even filled out the form on the website to have my ID resent, but I have yet to receive it.
Also, all of the materials my guidance counselor submitted were late (ED agreement, fee waiver, school report/rec) - after the November 1st deadline. Is this a large concern, and should I email Cornell admissions to clear things up?
As long as you sent in your application on time, other supporting documents can be sent later. Sometimes it takes a few days for Application ID to be generated.
@oldfort Thank you for the reply, that’s a relief! Do you know if it’s conventional to inform the university about late docs?
This is ED, which means they have less than 6 weeks to review everything to make their decisions. I would make sure you get your supporting documents in asap because they wouldn’t start reviewing your package until everything is in. Call Cornell if you don’t have your application ID to check the status in the next few days, then start putting pressure on your GC to make sure everything is in. Good luck.
@oldfort Thank you again for the advice!!
