Hii,
I am an International Undergraduate ED applicant. My friend (who also applied ED) got a mail from the financial aid office asking him to submit some forms, whereas I didn’t get any mail.
Do they send a mail to everyone? Have I already been rejected?
@thefish12323 they only do that if there are discrepancies or you’re missing something in the financial aid forms. Financial Aid works separately from admissions, so no, it is not an indicator of acceptance
@dixen454 apparently Cornell will send out an email a few days prior to Monday letting us know how to access the notification online…these last days are stressful…good luck to all!!
@BobSagets My interviewer asked me about why i liked Cornell, my extracurriculars, how I felt about Ithaca, and what makes me different from other students.
@BobSagets, why cornell, what makes u good candidate, how committed are you to ur major, do u stand out, leadership qual., ur career ambitions, passion etc all the best! can u share ur stats?
My interviewer didn’t ask me any questions. He just said he was there to inform me of any of questions I had. So, I spent an hour asking all of my questions. I don’t know if me having legacy status has anything to do with it though.
@Blueberrylover I am applying from India. My friend was asked to submit his dad’s income tax returns and passport for identification purposes. And now his financial aid to do list on to portal shows “initiated”
