Hi everyone!
I am an international ED applicant, and this morning I have received an email from FedEx about an envelope getting mailed to me from Cornell admissions. Apparently, it is a 0.5lb envelope. Did anyone else get this email? Does Cornell send out physical decision mail to everyone?

@Lemmonnnnade that sounds like a really good sign!! Maybe they send international applicants decisions by mail? Or maybe its a financial aid package? Or they send the decisions ahead of time but they arrive after Monday online decisions? I wish I knew, but regardless an 0.5 lbs envelope from Cornell Admissions sounds pretty damn good!

Regardless of what is in the mail, I want to wish everyone else a good luck! I know all your hard work will pay off. This discussion thread has helped me a lot in relieving stress and staying calm

We get our acceptance/reject letters in the mail sometime after we find out online, right?

Oh wait so all international applicants who are accepted receive their decision via mail?
I do not think so. I understand that mails to international student may take longer time to reach them than domestic students. But there is no reason for Cornell to split domestic and international letters and do it twice. Students can get their decisions online anyhow.
The acceptance is really nice and its quite big and tied with a red ribbon. MY DD got one 3 years ago.
Yeah but i saw this post about someone getting theirs via mail, they got a text message or smth, and that person is an international applicant
