Cornell ED Class of 2022 Discussion Thread

@bipedalhumanoid but i’m not sure of the actual rate

@bipedalhumanoid I think that it’s about 23%. A little bit higher than the acceptance rate last year, which was around 21%, and not as high as the rejection rate. I could be wrong tho!

I read somewhere, they defer about 25% of ED applicants

Ok thank you so much for the replies! Good to know it’s around 20-25ish

They defer a quarter of ED applicants. But I think it depends on the college. CHE defers more than any of the other 6 colleges

I know it’s late for this but did anyone get an email from financial aid office saying that their forms were incomplete or done incorrectly?

@Bella2018 I think acceptance rate for all 7 coleges was about 25% for ED last year and 26% a year before

If I don’t get a likely letter… does it mean that I will mostly be rejected/ deferred?

@Chelydraroach Obviously not…

@go2college1234 I didn’t, but if you did, did you fill out whatever the email listed and submit them before the deadline?

@Chelydraroach Likely letter are for RD…

good night everybody.
fingers crossed.

@pythakorean I think my dad said that he did something wrong on the CSS so the info on the CSS form didn’t match the info on the FAFSA. We sent them all in way before November 21st and my to do list has been cleared since 2 weeks ago. IDK if people got emails from the Financial aid office for incorrect info

Que chinga tu madre!

Que chinga tu madre!

@go2college1234 so when’d you get the email? Also if your list has been cleared for a while then everything should be good now at least? I saw back in this thread that a couple people got an email about that too

@xfewds Que chinga tu madre!

does anyone know is going to the Cornell university summer college and doing well in the course that you took helps your chances of getting in?

@pythakorean I did not get an email from the financial aid office, so that is why I’m worried. My FAFSA was 100% correct, so hopefully, Cornell just looked at that or something.

@meesh2637 Dude I took a course there as well and got a good grade. It really increases your chances if you can show that you can do well in their classes.
