@coniston1 you do upload it to the idol and they submit it to cornell. The fafsa has a list of all schools you applied to and it used to be that you wanted to list them in order of preference but I can’t remember if they know or not that you applied to each of them.

@ayexian financial aid is an annual thing so everyone has to reapply each year there are some schools that the forms aren’t even due yet but regardless you should contact the office about applying late because maybe if you are accepted there may still be some left for you

When I called the admissions office they said they’d send out the email to access your decision on monday morning. I thought we get it the email 3 days before…?

@srparent15 but won’t all my schools get a copy of the document if I submitted on IDOC? How will IDOC know to send it only to Cornell? They would have to look at the pic and think about it to know that

@yllatagu when you called the admissions office, did they confirm that ED decisions will be released on Monday, Dec 10th at 7 p.m.?

On decision day you will receive your pin and password. If you click on forgot pin you can enter your email and sometimes can get into the site early. You won’t be able to see your decision early, but it will tell you the exact day and time results will be released once you gain access.

@coniston1 it’s not that complicated. Just log in to the css profile then upload it and they will send it off to the schools that require it. It is not unique to Cornell. It’s a generic form. So if other schools need it later it’s in your list already. If you applied ED it also doesn’t matter anyway if other schools later know you applied there because either you’ll be in or you’ll have been rejected.

@yllatagu My guess is that they email how to access it in the morning, but the decision is released in the evening at 7 PM.

Last year Cornell sent out an email on Friday Dec.8th saying that an email with instructions to receive your decision on Dec. 11th will be sent on the 11th.

so your saying we will most likely be getting an email on friday the 7th saying we will get an email on monday the 10th telling us instructions to open the decisions on that monday @longislandivymother1

That’s how they did it last year, so maybe. Unless they send out the first email on Monday then I don’t know when the decision one would be
