Only 4 days now!!!
Financial Aid outcomes and Admissions decisions are independent from one another. Neither affects the other one. I have one financial aid item that remains on the “to do” list and it is due to an unusual circumstance and it may not get resolved prior to next week. Everyone at Cornell’s financial aid office has been reasonable and professional, and I expect that if my daughter is fortunate enough to be accepted, and knowing that we have until early January to officially “accept”, that any remaining aid issues can get resolved in the days/weeks post 12/10.
Anyone applying to HUMEC/FDM?
ahhhhh i am getting SO NERVOUS NOW it’s all i can think about!!
I have a few B’s so it might not be good to get my hopes up. Avg ACT too. Maybe not the school for me. Eagerly waiting for admissions decisions! 5 days!!!
How is everyone so sure it’s coming out on the 10th? Has Cornell officially stated or released anything online yet?
Does anyone have any info on admissions for Animal Science major in CALS? Is there a certain number that they accept per year or in ED vs. RD? Is it one of the harder CALS majors to get into?
@nosyntaxplease Some people called the admissions office and were told to expect decisions on 12/10 at 7 pm.
hi, I am an international and had applied for aid but did not get my financial aid login or pin. is this something I should take up with the admission department?
@kittylover229 here’s all of last year’s stats. http://irp.dpb.cornell.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Profile2018-Freshmen2.pdf
@SuperBatBoi01 I believe I read somewhere that if you did not receive a user/pin or can’t log in, you should call the financial aid office.
Update: I got it everything is fine…
Wait do you guys have a financial aid pin or are you guys using your ApplicantID to check financial aid status?
no not yet, we are guessing and going by last year. Nothing has been confirmed yet by Cornell

I just want these admissions decisions released… I’m just hoping i can get 1 of 3 things to happen, get into Cornell, Get the presidential Scholarship at the University of Toledo(Already and accepted Bacc2MD there) or Case western PPSP for Biomedical Engineering and MD. And if all else fails I also applied to Emory, U Chicago, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, and Ohio University.
