Apply for QuestBridge (if you have financial burdens you might qualify) and your chances double. Everything else looks good, but don’t include the middle school achievements. You might also want to consider retaking the ACT

isn’t questbridge the same thing as fafas ?

No. It’s for low income students who have done well given their lack of opportunity. QuestBridge gives you a better chance at college admission since all of the best schools want low income students for diversity and you might receive full scholarship covered by the QuestBridge foundation.

I second doing QB. Emory, Vandy, and Rice are part of QB.
Most students that do QB have an income of less than 60k/yr though

Also, what do you mean by transportation limiting your ECs? You live far away from your school? You will want to have your counselor write something about that when you do apps.

I’d say that vandy is a low reach and the other schools are high matches. You might want to bring up your ACT or take the SAT if you really like studying.

Thanks for the reply. i live moderately close to school, its that my parents came back really late which limited my opportunities when it came to clubs and stuff

Would that still change my chances?
