<p>i’m not in engineering, but 3 of my suitemates are. they have a lot of work and usually do it together in a group. they do work every single day, but then once they’re done, they do have time to go out or watch movies, etc. from what i can see from them, a lot of it depends on your time management skills.</p>

<p>Being a woman engineer isn’t that weird at Cornell. We are well above the national average for women in engineering, and the Society for Women engineers is one of the most active in the country. </p>
<p>I do have a life…I have leadership roles in 2 of the (non-engineering) clubs I’m involved in, in greek life, and have lots of friends who are not engineers.</p>
<p>The work is hard and stressful at times, but in the end, it is definitely worth it.</p>
