Two of my friends got rejected already. However I wonder if any international applicants have received acceptance so far?
so I see a lot of people mentioning how their financial aid has changed from “initiated” to “ordered”, does this mean anything?
Any Engineering applicants getting a decision tomorrow?
@DBaf20 I am
@daidai16 Seems to be the same case with all of us ILR applicants…Maybe financial aid was not able to get to process our materials yet? or were all getting rejected! Good luck to all of us lmao.
@NotJohn I am an international CALS applicant and I haven’t heard anything, the PIN trick isn’t working for me either
Just for those interested:
CAS Economics Applicant
Financial Aid: Initiated
PIN Trick: Does Not Work
@shp456 It means transfer option. Its when they send a letter asking you to apply again.
Same
Dyson Applied Economics Applicant
Financial Aid: Initiated
No PIN trick
Had my app completed and sent in for review in late March.
Although I should note, I’m not expecting an acceptance - period. Cornell was my reach. On the waitlist for UVA
hey guys!! nervous ILR applicant here! pin trick worked for me so I guess a lot of ILR people are getting decisions tomorrow
Can someone explain The ordered/initiated thing?
I need to receive my Dyson decision already…
@butfirstcoffee similar to the application process at many schools, that change in your financial aid indicates a positive decision was made. it’s a true positive test, meaning nobody has had “ordered” and gotten rejected and commented about it. All we’ve seen (historically) is that people who have “ordered” in their financial aid to-do list have been accepted.
Essentially, it’s very likely you got in if your FA status went from initiated to ordered.
@msport which item on the financial aid to do list is typically changed? all of them or only one?
@pharmabro1 doesn’t really matter to be honest. but I’ve seen it generally is the transcript
Is CAS more difficult to get into than CALS?
@DBaf20 I’m expecting a decision for engineering tomorrow too.
Engineering applicant, pin trick worked but financial aid still says initiated
I am an ILR applicant for the fall. I received a phone call on Friday morning to tell me I was accepted, and my transcript is listed as “ordered.” Best of luck to you all.
@wallywest04 good luck I was told like way back in the thread, accpetance was likely coming for engineers this week.
