Cornell for Fashion

Anybody know the main differences between the fashion programs at Cornell and Syracuse and the ones at FIT, Parsons, RISD? Are they more technologically intense and less creative? Are they easier or harder to get into? Does the industry compare them less well or just as favorably when it comes time get a job?

if you are referring to cornell's program at the college of human ecology, yes it is more selective but that is because you learn more than just 'fashion.' you actually learn the science behind it as well (ie with fabrics). FIT is notoriously easy to get into, given that you don't write a generic admissions essay. and at FIT, i'm pretty sure you get an associate's degree, and afterwards you can apply for a bachelor's. the new school (parsons) seems more into designing, whereas at FIT you will find many students interested in the business aspect of fashion (similar to LIM). sorry, don't know much about rhode island.

I'm thinking of transferring to Cornell's Fiber Science/Apparel Design Major next semester. How do those students fare in the job-hunting process in comparison to those from FIT/Parsons/etc?
