Cornell, Georgetown, Brown, Dartmouth, McGill

Hi everyone! I’m currently a junior at an excellent public school in upstate NY that was ranked last year by US News as a Top 30 high school nationwide. I’d like to get everyone’s opinion on my chances for Cornell, Georgetown, Brown, Dartmouth, McGill, and if they have any places they would recommend that I would get into. As I mentioned, I’m only in my junior year so a lot of things are still hypothetical but probable. Thanks to everyone for their input in advance.

GPA: 93.743% which translates into 4.0?
My school doesn’t rank, doesn’t have GPA on a 4.0 scale, and only calculates GPA through junior year and then sends first semester senior grades as a transcript not included in the GPA.

Essays would be about my Bio Internship and how I learned so much not just in Bio but by living independently in DC.

Recommendations would be pretty good from AP Bio Teacher and Spanish Teacher

Major: Probably Bio or Premed

No one can tell you where you are going to have a good/bad shot in college without a definite ACT or SAT score. Projected does not mean actual. So until you take that, its all merely speculation. Also, you got a b in Sustainable Architecture(Half Year) and a b in PreCalculus Honors. So that is not a 4.0.

There is no upstate NY school ranked top 30 by us news.

@ClarinetDad16 It was ranked top 30 last year.

@lhd512 The way our school calculates it, it is a 4.0 GPA since it is a 93.7% which translates into a 4.0.

Top 30 school in NY State? Because there is no upstate school in the top 100 nationally.
