I was recently offered a GT for SHA class 2023. Hoping to read some advice from people who previously took the GT into Cornell (specifically SHA if possible). I have some general questions. Cornell is definitely my dream school and I’m 100% sure that I will take the GT offer:

  1. What classes did you have to take?
  2. How was your transition into Cornell?
  3. What happens if you fall below the requirements?
  4. Any general advice would be appreciated

I would say call or email the Hotel School and ask them for recommended classes that would likely transfer. However, my advice would be to look at the Hotel School core courses for freshman and sophomore year and take ones that seem similar to theirs. For instance, financial and managerial accounting and microecon have to be same everywhere right?
