Cornell Guaranteed Transfer?

Hey guys, so I'm a senior in HS entering the Fall '08 college year, and I have a few questions regarding Cornell's transfer policy:

I didn't apply to Cornell or anything, but I'm wondering what this is all about?
CALS Admissions: Transfer Agreements

Can I simply go to one of the listed colleges, keep the required GPA, along with the other necessary things, and get a guaranteed admission into Cornell's CALS department?

Also, if I want to study and attend a University such as Penn State for two years, and then try and transfer into Cornell's Arts/Science College (which is quite hard, I know :P), would I still need to take the SAT II's if I haven't ever taken them?

Thanks a lot, and the question regarding the CALS department needs to be answered please!

Thanks!

What if I wanted to major in something and go onto Medical School/Medicine. Would this be a good idea? Maybe I could transfer into here, and once my general ed. classes are out, I could transfer into the Arts/Sciences College?

Is that possible? I don't really have much information on this, so can someone please help!

Too late bro, GT is offered to about 50 or so students each year in the contract schools only (i think, meaning if your from ny you got a much better shot) who cornell feels are qualified but doesnt have room. Some say its so they can boost the admitted number of ny kids to those schools but they also act as fillers so when the ilr and hotelies go off to do internships and trips soph year they get to take the spot. Its only offerd from what i gather to people who apply regular decision so unfortunatly yuor stuck in the regular transfer pool. If im wrong please correct me cuz im not 100% sure.

cheers,
Mike
