How is my schedule? Is there enough time for lunch? I really don't want to ruin my college career by overloading on too many difficult classes freshman year. I already know multivar, python(and many other languages), physics mechanics, etc. Am I too underconfident???!
Schedule for Fall 2013

Also how are grades for prelims determined? Are you graded amongst your peers the professor teachers or all of the professors' students (aka classes taught by multiple people).

All of these classes are intended for freshmen. All of them besides FWS and PE are pre reqs for higher classes. I’m assuming you have AP credit for math 1910 or you are planning to test out. You can always try to test of of mechanics as well I think…

As well, FWS is random lottery so don’t bank on this being completely final.

If you know python and stuff like java etc the class will be VERY easy for you. (see [CS 1130: Transition to Object-Oriented Programming](http://www.cs.cornell.edu/courses/cs1130/2012fa/) they are moving to python but you’ll be learning the equivalent. This link is the transition course but the material is more or less the same as the actual class)

Helen Newman and Snee are on opposite ends of the campus and 15min will be quite the walk.

Don’t forget you have to account for ENGRG 1050 even though you only need to show up for this seminar.

Engineering classes are graded against all students taking that class (ie phys 1112) in that semsester. Everyone takes the same exams.
