Cornell Honors Course

Does anyone know whether cornell as any honors course? And if they do, do they have honors in engineering?

thx for replies in advance :D

no, they do not. a similar thread was brought up not long ago, might be worth it to check out.

there's no need for honors courses at Cornell ... that's because it's Cornell, if you're there as a student, you're obviously incredably smart to begin with and dont need honors courses to "distinguish" you in a big school. It's more of a total "honors" college.

I wonder what the OP means by "Honors Courses." There are courses that are clearly intended for the highest achievers, like Math 223-224 and the Physics sequence 116-217-218.

If he means "Graduating with an Honors Designation," it is available in some departments.

If he is asking about a separate "Honors College" or group, see gomestar's answer.

Oh ok... I think i understand the cornell curriculum now... thx alot guys (or girls for dat matter) lol

I think the OP was referring to the honours programme that state schools have to attract bright kids.
