I’ve been reading a lot of discouraging things on various Cornell threads about how ILR is just a “backdoor” way in and that most of the community college transfers struggle upon arrival. I myself am a community college student hoping to apply, and I was just wondering if any of this is true? Most of the threads in question just sound like baseless, bitter, rambling to me…though of course I could be wrong. Does anyone have personal experience transferring from a cc and succeeding, or can anyone speak to how most of the ILR transfer class performed? Also, the tone of the aforementioned discussions have piqued my interest: do non-transfer students REALLY look down upon transfers? If so, how pervasive is that attitude?
bumppp
I’d like to know as well
