<p>HI, i am currently a ILR Freshmen and would like to transfer to the hotel school...do you knwo any requirements? how hard will it be? and when will be the earliest possible semester for em to transfer?!!

<p>umm start getting a job at the Statler...Hotel school accepts maybe 5 internal transfers a year....good luck!</p>
<p>Internal transfer division/ Office. They would let you take half your classes at the Hotel School for one semester, and if you do well in them, you're basically in. I know someone who was in your same situation (ILR to Hotel). She did that and also worked at the Statler to have some good reasons for transferring, and she got in. Good luck!</p>

<p>Talk to the internal transfer division and you'll probably be able to take a couple of hotel school courses next semester. Doing this shows how well you can do in the hotel school, and also gives you a chance to see if transferring is really what you want.</p>

<p>she was a freshman at ILR, and just took some introductory hotel school courses her second semester. I remember her saying that she liked it a lot, but that is was really really different from ILR. She was admitted to being a full-time hotelie just at the start of this year.</p>
<p>You should probably consult with the ITD or your counselor to help you pick out the classes.</p>
