Hi, I was accepted to Cornell a few days ago and this morning I got an email from the financial aid office. It said that they are sorry to inform me that they cannot give me any financial aid since there are limited funds for international students. The email also told me to sent a bank verification form and a declaration of finances form to receive my I-20.

I am a US citizen living in South Korea. I do not understand why I am being considered an international student when I have US citizenship. Is this an error on Cornell's part?
