Cornell told me that it missed my high school transcript, even though I resent it like 20 times. It finally received my transcript, IB predicted grades, and note from my counselor a week ago.

Do you think Cornell will make a decision by December 11th, or will it say "ah screw this, let's just defer"?

Cornell wouldn't want to risk passing up a very qualified applicant who they really want at their school by being lazy and just deferring an applicant whose materials came in later.

shifu cornell does not act liek that. they understand your from canda an dthat it takes a while longer to send your stuff, chill out. im pretty sure you will get in :)

Shifu, I wonder why there was such a long delay for you.
because i applied from canada as well (toronto), and materials i mailed all arrived at cornell in one day. (i sent them through fedex though)

I live in Vancouver, the best place on Earth. I think the fault was clearly on the Cornell's part. I think it lost my stuff. I sent via expressed mail through Canada Post. And on my tracking webpage it says Cornell received my transcript on 27th of October. Cornell clearly lost my stuff. Do you think it's because of my name? On my transcript it contains both my English name and my Chinese name. Cornell might type in my English name and found no matches.
