I'm considering applying to Cornell early decision, as it would greatly increase my chance of acceptance. I love Georgetown also though and I am worried about what my experience will be like at Cornell...I've heard it's very hard.

Please give me the pros and cons of both! (Food, campus life, sports, academics, fun, people, etc) And which one is better for a future in law school?

Neither one is significantly better for a future in law school. For that, what matters most is your GPA and LSAT scores.

The surrounding environments are very different.
Georgetown is in an upscale urban area. Cornell is in a rural area.
Average January low temperatures are 29 degrees in Washington, DC;
average January low temperatures are 15 degrees in Ithaca, NY.

Understand that although ED admission rates may be much higher than RD rates, you aren’t necessarily comparing apples to apples. Cornell’s ED pool may be getting many more recruited athletes and legacies.

Agree with tk21769. Have you visited both? Which one do you think is a better fit for you? That being said, Georgetown!

Also agree with tk. Neither is ‘better’ than the other for law school or anything else - they are comparable academically but different culturally. It’s really a matter of which provides the best fit for you personally. I haven’t visited Cornell, so no comments there, but Georgetown has a pretty campus, a great urban location in DC, it’s right along the Potomac River with nature at your door, and, as mentioned above, decent weather year round. Go Hoyas!
