georgetown vs. cornell?

I dont know what school i should pick:

Georgetown MSB or Cornell Arts n Sciences?

Ill be going to the open house weekends for both so hopefully that will help me make up my mind...

I'm in the same situation, I'm between Gtown College and Cornell CAS. I'm still praying to be accepted from the Columbia waitlist, but in the meantime I'm in the same situation as you are.

Georgetown b/c there are more internships in DC than Ithaca. Georgetown's also 1/4 the size of Cornell and generally has better weather and more stuff to do. One upside to Cornell is that there are frats/sorority parties b/c theyre not a Jesuit school.

Georgetown. I live about 40 minutes from Ithaca and...it's no DC. But then again I'm just plain sick of being outnumbered by cows--if you're ready for that sort of a change, by all means choose Cornell..it's a beautiful area.

Yeah, I would pick Georgetown over Cornell for the listed reasons above, here's a recap :
1) DC rocks Ithaca.
2) Internships at DC rock Hicksville, NY.
3) Repeat the above to yourself, and realize that Georgetown>Cornell any day.

yeah, DC is amazing, i cant wait for the GAAP weekend starting 2morrow, but just to be fair to Cornell, im gonna visit them next weekend, even though ill choose the big city over the country any day

yeah, Georgetown for sure. Ithaca is so depressing in winter... plus, seeing as you're business orientated, a specialised program would suit you better (MSB).
