Cornell: Party Ivy?

Yeah....I had to spend about a month after graduation in rehab to recover from all those nasty addictions I developed at Cornell ;)

Curing my PMP addiction was the hardest...don't know how I did it!

^What!? Rehab is expensive these days! With all the debt I'll have after graduating, I can't afford to spend it on rehab. What other good schools are like Cornell but DON'T have the severe drug/alcohol use?

Luckily for you...the new financial plan will minimize your debt load. Unfortunately...those of us who graduated before the new plan was initiated had more difficulty paying for our rehab expenses.

Actually, I here if you act now, Cornell may fund your rehab clinic if you help place the nicotine patches on students at night.

I may get in on that if I don't become RA of a dorm.

^^ugh, I wish I'd known about that!

oh i thought PMP was party in my pants addiction or peed in my pants addiction

mmmmm....not so much

However...I did have many friends who suffered from the party in my pants addiction...nasty consequences ;)

"OH MY GOD! I'm so sad now! I thought Cornell was my number 1 but now that I've read these last two posts from two people who go there, I think I'm going to rethink! I don't want to use nicotine patches! I heard they have really adverse side effects! ): I can't believe this is all true. "

hahahaha thank god for stupid people. this thread made my day.
StevenWheat, are you 6 years old? college is always about the hardcore drugs. what'd you expect?

But are there any hardcore drugs at Cornell?

this thread is ludicrous

StevenWheatland gets PWNED by sarcasm and then makes the comeback of a 5 year old....nice1

...too many other reasons to list

Mariambaby3, there are hardcore drugs everywhere, even at Jesuit colleges, even at Brigham Young.

The beautiful thing about Cornell is, if you don't want to see any of that stuff, you don't have to, with how many other students there are to hang out with.

I'm sorry, are we all still being sarcastic? I'm lost in this pool of sarcasm.

We really need to start using this smiley ---->

Sorry, not you DRMAN54 I was talking to the pomegrante kid. He just doesn't understand.

i am the poster and i don't even want to be here

:P

Haha you thought PMP was party in my pants?

the amount of sarcasm in this thread is going to explode CC

@ Steven:

This is a serious comment. Cornell is not the intellectual utopia some people expect it to be. Many people here seem to be solely concerned with partying. The very first words I heard spoke when I arrived on Cornell's campus were, "Dude, I got so f_cked up last night. Yea, but I'm having a huge ass party tonight anyway!"

But then again, go the computer labs in the Engineering Quad on Friday and Saturday night. They're often packed. And there's always people studying in the libraries. So there's a large segment that is very studious, but there's also a large segment that gets drunk before a final exam (seriously, I've seen this).

If you do choose to come here, know that you'll receive the best education possible. And hopefully, you'll meet a group of like-minded friends.
