I'm applying to Cornell architecture and I still have not done with the portfolio and interview.... Do you guys think that if I go to post office and send them on Dec 31. will it be postmarked by january 2nd? Im worried because I know that it will be closed on jan 1.

<p>Try dropping it off in the morning, if you get it there early enough it will be postmarked for the 31st, definitely by the 2nd</p>
<p>So the portfolio will be considered on time if it is POSTMARKED by January 2nd? Or does it actually have to be IN their office by January 2nd?</p>
<p>Postmarked by January 2nd, that way it has an official date for the deadline, because mail moves different speeds all over the country</p>
