true i think this one is true
so people never had it, not even when the checklist was still there?
Does anyone else have a bunch of financial aid documents that were due march 15th on the portal?
To those who don’t like the whole portal astrology thing: there is no need to be rude about it. Some people like to speculate to keep themselves busy. If you don’t like it, just skip it or ignore the forum. Everyone handles this stuff differently. Be happy it isn’t nearly as bad as NYU’s portal astrology, and just be supportive
around what time did the message pop up on the portal for the supposedly ‘admitted’ students?
When I checked at 8AM it was there
My son was invited for the fly-in program, and attended virtually. Usually almost certain to be accepted because they already screened his stats. But this year is unusual. He was rejected, not even waitlisted. Likely letters are almost certain, but still not 100% this year.
I think multiple people called admissions to ask about the email sent out that people are referring to as a likely letter, and they said that it was a definitive acceptance (at least for cornell). i think we’re all just nervous and paranoid!
Were you referring to this one, @popcornboy123?
yeah he is
I thought I’d had it all along because I had it in the beginning; however, when I checked again just in case, it was gone, and I think we experienced that together. Hope this is a good indicator.
i thought this is what happned to everyobe?
Thanks for the confirmation. So, according to his conjecture, am I to believe I’m on the right track? At the moment he posted the poll, I thought I had the message (because I had it in the morning); however, when I went back on my portal, the message had been removed.
Apparently, the poll result says otherwise; there were some exceptions.
If your message was removed, it think it means rejection.
yup i think this is the sign of an acceptance
What exactly did the message say? I didnt wake up until like 12 pm LMAO
