Just used the “Look up Alternate ID” to search up some people who I know were accepted into Engineering and their names showed up. Those who were rejected did not show up.
However, someone who was rejected from the SHA (SC Johnson College of Business) last year still had “APP20-XYZ#” but did have an interview.
Therefore, I think that different colleges are using this system in different ways.
To confirm this, is there someone who applied to the SC Johnson College of Business who does not have a name when they search? I applied this year and have APP21-#######. I speculate that everyone who applied the SC Johnson College of Business have their name on the list. Can someone confirm/debunk this?
I agree everyone needs to get off these threads and go do something else

at this point I feel like there are no portal indicators at all ahah.
APP 21-##### had a chance, but I am not sure if we are sure if this is an indicator.

Guys, I’m clearing this. If you have even once logged into your financial aid portal, then your name will come. It will he APP20 or APP21 depending on in which year you logged in. Some of my friends didnt have their names. The moment they logged in, their names appeared

Do you know if she included a nickname or middle name on her CommonApp? Did you check about those? I think someone on reddit checked all the names of the people who posted in the Cornell 25 instagram page and it showed for all of them except a few, which they predicted they just posted on insta for the clout

There are NO accurate or remotely close to accurate indicators right now on the portal or financial aid portal!!
so if its five numbers your accepted and seven numbers rejected?
