Cornell Social Life...Rating of 1 - 10 (current students please)

hey, rate the social life at cornell for the rest of us…1 - 10.

Parties

Ease of making friends (some too competitive, cutthroat?)

Girls (as compared to high school)

Not a rate: what kinds of ‘groups’ to you see on campus? (if any)

10

10 (not competitive - why would making friends be competitive?)

5

You have your athletes, your frat guys/sorority girls, your nerdier groups, more social people, less social people - standard stuff. But most people have friends "across" groups - it doesn't seem very cliquey or anything. I mean, you have your frat meatheads, but thats a very small percentage of the overall greek population (about half my friends are in frats, half aren't, we all hang out and get along and have similar interests). Same with sororities - you'll have your jappy bozos driving the Hummer daddy bought them around but that's a very small percentage of the population.

10 is the highest.

lol he meant cut throat into school work so they aren't social (I think)

dude its all 10's when we go out for the night Wave lol

Parties - 8-9, depending on when/where/the hosts' budget.

Ease of making friends (some too competitive, cutthroat?) - 10, it's as easy as hell.

Girls (as compared to high school) - 6, most are pretty decent and the hot ones are certainly there, but it's no state school 'girls gone wild' grade oil fest.

Not a rate: what kinds of 'groups' to you see on campus? (if any) - the only solid groups i can see while walking around campus are freshmen and asians. Both tends to walk around in herds.
