Sadly I didn't get into Cornell as a Freshmen, but am considering reapplying next year as a sophomore. Just wondering, is it harder to get into Cornell as a sophomore transfer? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I transferred to Cornell as a sophomore....I think in some cases, it's easier to get in a transfer. Just depends on college/major and why you want to come to Cornell.

definitely depends on school/major. CAS, AAP, Hotel are really hard. Dont know about engineering. But the others let in so many transfers you wonder how they have room for them.

Others let in so many because of guarantee transfer, not because of regular application transfers. The chances of getting into all colleges without the guarantee transfer is about the same.
