Is it worth it? $12,000 for 6 architecture credits seems rather steep...
On the other hand, I really want to go to Cornell and living there for 6 weeks seems like a really good experience and way to decide if I love the college enough to apply ED. I'm from Minnesota, so it's hard for me to get a campus tour.
Should I go?
Do they actually give anyone financial aid?
Thanks

personally i wouldnt. im my state (tn) we have a highly selective program called governors school where if selected u get a full scholarship (tuition, room, board, everything but transportation) and earn 6 free credit hours at any tn public university. u should see if minnesota has anything like that. but if ur family has an extra 12k then yea itd let you find out if cornell is for u. just seems expensive when u can stay at cornell and audit a class or two most likely for free if contacted cornell and asked to do so.

I want to go to the Cornell summer college. I was going to apply for financial aid/scholarships. I want to know how good the financial aid for that is too…

According to their site, they will cover up to half of the tuition (so approx $5000) for people who need it, but they say aid is limited. Does that mean they have preferential acceptance towards those who can pay without aid? Because my family doesn’t have 12 grand just layin around, it’s coming from my savings and college account mostly…

Ugh, I hope not. I want to go so bad. The First session of Mind, Body and Health. And I really can’t afford it. I hope they’re need blind with the summer program.

One question about the application essay
do we write one 250 words essay or 4 250 words essay?

thanks
