i got my acceptance letter in the mail last week! but i haven't decided on which program to choose.. i'm leaning towards psychology or law.. what do you guys think??

do psychology! thats what im doing it looks interesting.

hi i applied to SC Veterinary Medicine and I haven't received any response back yet (through mail). does this mean i was not accepted? do they e-mail you about too(lots of times our mail gets lost around where i live)? anyone else applied to vet med (and got in or didn't hear back from them yet)?? :(

I think they will let you know if you're not accepted. It takes a few weeks for them to process your application and send their decision though. It took mine 2-3 weeks.

I did cornell's freedom and justice 3 week course last summer (2005) and it was the best 3 weeks of my life

CALS summer college alum '05 - deff a good choice

was the freedom and justice program very difficult?

Im doing the 3 week business program? Does everyone stay in the same place, no matter what program they're in?

yea, i'm pretty sure we're all in the same building.

oh man... bubble tea <3

All I have to say is: Beware of Mr. Moss!

uh oh. who's that.

i am a cornell sc alumn as well. i did architecture

a really large majority of all the SC'ers are architecture students. they're here for 6 weeks. for most of the time, your social life revolves in studio. a lot of your weekends will be busy. I was planning on visiting NYC on one of the weekends but was busy catching up on a project. But that's not a bad thing. Architecture students really bond up because they're always in studio together late at night, early in the morning, and going through the process together.

as for whether the program is worth it financially-if your top college choice really is cornell, and you have the money to do it, i'd say it's a worth it. you have to do well in the program if you want to get into cornell later on. if you're going to this program in hopes of getting a better chance of getting into cornell (assuming that you'll do well) but don't have the money, then think again, because you can get into cornell maybe as easily as those who went to summer college.if you do well in the program, then you'll have a better chance. since architecture had a 8% admin rate this year, it might be worthwhile to attend sc and do well because cornell architecture is very competitive.

but besides that, sc is very fun and it's a very good experience. def one of the best experiences in life.

some suggestions for those going into the program

-last summer was VERY hot so bring fans and anything that will cool you down
-take a swim at ithaca falls
-RA's (residential advisors) are really strict. take their word seriously because they mean whatever they say.

hahahaha yeah, beware of Mr. Moss.

you'll see when you get there. his presence will definitely be noticed.

yay! I did summer college last year. It was a blast- really good experience to be away from home for 6 weeks, fun people, good classes, etc.

Oh yeah, Mr. Moss is quite scary. Specially to us guys.

hey i got into cornell summer and im doing engineering with math191 and astro106. anyone else doing engineering?

who is this mr. moss?

This scary cop that handles situations much tougher than Cornell Summer College's.
