Cornell Summer College?

I have a number of goals for the upcoming summer. If I could get feedback as to whether or not attending CSC would help me attain these goals, that would be a tremendous help.

I need to show colleges that I'm back in action! I fell seriously ill my junior year of high school and I'm repeating, albeit with a shortened schedule (4 classes a day - all APs). On top of a number of publications I'm working on, I want to do something rigorous, so that I may prove the extent to which I have recovered.

I want to truly learn. I'm not the type of person who just does something for transcript padding. It must be in an intellectually stimulating atmosphere. Does CSC provide this?

What, if any, benefit will attending CSC offer my early decision chances at Cornell?

Thank you. I'd appreciate a few responses.

from what i’ve heard, csc is pretty rigorous, and you can earn college credit. this is more than most other courses can offer.

honestly, it probably won’t affect your chances. i don’t think colleges care whether you go to their summer program, but they do like it when you go to a summer program.

i’m going there this summer for philosophy and cognitive science. did you end up applying?
