w00t just got the "case for cornell". haha yeah i lost my PIN so i couldnt check online.

accepted- cornell engineering

about med school- what I hear from adults is mostly that for your career, which med school you go to doesnt really matter (i suppose unless ur looking for a job in a pharmaceutical company). even in hospitals, patient satisfaction is much more important than a prestigious med school. (dont take my word on that, im just passing on the message from my mom, whos a head nurse at St. Peter's Univ. Hosp. in NJ)

everything engineering @ cornell is the best.

ooh im from Princeton NJ, do i know you?

what school? I'm PHS, isnt it raining hard right now?

its raining mad hard. actually im from west windsor-plainsboro north, shucks guess i dont know you.

raining cows and horses in pennsylvania

its raining water here...

sunny and 85 in az... :)
i dont' know if i'll be able to handle ithaca and gasp snow...

eibrahaim got accepted RD.
I just had to post this, I'm really happy for him.
This was the guy who had that 10 page thread on whether he would be accepted or not a while back. (Fish officially "closed" it.) A lot of people were skeptical. He wasn't even sure if he should apply or not. 1220 SAT, good ECs (remember, co-founder of that Sudanese club, treasurer of MSA, etc), low GPA (like 2.something in freshman year, and he brought it up to 3.something now?) People said his essays weren't that good either. I remember someone was posting that being a founder of some random club wouldn't help at all. I suppose his upward trend and ECs DID help.

SO, moral of story, I guess always apply because you may just be in favor. :)

oh absolutely apply...props to him...if you dont apply you'll never know

Shows that if you're really determined.. they'll see it, and gives hope to people (me included)

Congrats to him! :)
